NOVELTY - Preparing carbon-coated sodium titanium phosphate composite material involves adding a carbon source, a sodium source, a phosphorus source and a titanium source into a dispersing agent and uniformly stirring to obtain slurry. The slurry is stirred and refluxed removing portion of the dispersing agent under reduced pressure, and then drying to obtain a powdery precursor. The precursor is pressed into a rough blank, calcined the rough blank in an inert atmosphere, and cooled. USE - Method for preparing carbon-coated sodium titanium phosphate composite material. ADVANTAGE - The method has no emission of any harmful or corrosive gas, is a green and eco-friendly production process, and the used raw materials are common and cost-effective. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a method for preparing carbon-coated sodium titanium phosphate cathode pole piece, which involves: (1) using carbon-coated sodium titanium phosphate composite material as an active material of the cathode pole piece, and mixing the water-based conductive slurry, water-based glue and a solvent, then adding a conductive agent and the carbon-coated sodium titanium phosphate composite material, and uniformly stirring to obtain water-based coating slurry; (2) coating the water system coating slurry on a hydrophobic carbon-coated aluminum foil, drying, compacting and slitting to obtain the carbon-coated sodium titanium phosphate cathode plate.
