NOVELTY - Large-scale preparation of high-quality graphene, involves obtaining expanded graphite by adding graphite to aromatic hydrocarbon, dissolving oxidizing agent in an organic solvent, adding the solution of oxidizing agent to expanded graphite solution, ultrasonically mixing, placing the mixture in a water bath at specific temperature, and separating graphene from the mixture. USE - Large-scale preparation of high-quality graphene used in supercapacitors, lithium-ion batteries, electronic devices, and ion-selective electrodes. ADVANTAGE - The method is simple and economical, and enables preparation of graphene having excellent quality and very little defects.
