NOVELTY - Preparing cobalt-free anode material comprises (a) mixing cobalt precursor and lithium source uniformly to obtain a mixed powder (A), (b) sintering the mixed powder at high temperature, cooling the sintered product, crushing and sieving to obtain another mixed powder, (c) mixing the latter mixed powder and manganese oxide nano-wire wet grinding and mixing uniformly, then adding strong oxidizing initiator, grinding uniformly, reacting for 10-30 minutes at 10-100degrees Celsius, drying the reactant to obtain powder (C), (d) sintering the latter powder at low temperature and cooling the product and crushing and screening to obtain cobalt free anode materials. USE - Preparation method of long-life cobalt-free anode material used for preparing lithium ion battery used in electric vehicle. Can also be used in hybrid electric vehicle (HEV). ADVANTAGE - The method is simple, cost-effective and simple, and provides long-life cobalt-free anode material with high conductivity and good circulation performance.
