NOVELTY - The method involves mixing conductive agent slurry and gas adsorbent slurry. An active material is added to the conductive agent slurry. A pole piece coating slurry is prepared. The pole piece coating slurry is coated on a current collector of battery to prepare a pole piece, where the gas absorbent is active carbon, modified active carbon, graphene and graphene oxide. USE - The method is useful for reducing gas production of battery. ADVANTAGE - The method: absorbs the gas generated in the battery using process; avoids increasing the impedance of battery; improves the multiplying power performance, cycle life of battery, and the safety of battery; and prevents the short circuit inside battery.
