NOVELTY - Preparing three-dimensional flower-like cadmium sulfide-graphene oxide (CdS/GO) comprises e.g. (i) preparing three-dimensional flower-like cadmium sulfide (CdS): dissolving the cadmium acetate and thiourea in the de-ionized water, slowly adding L-aspartic acid solution; stirring, placing the uniform mixed solution in the reaction kettle, reacting, precipitating through centrifugation, washing with ethanol and distilled water, and drying; and (ii) preparing cadmium sulfide-graphene oxide composite material: dispersing the dried graphene oxide in absolute ethanol, and adding cadmium sulfide. USE - The cadmium sulfide-graphene oxide is useful for degradation of organic matter in dye waste water. ADVANTAGE - The cadmium sulfide-graphene oxide has a regular structure of the flower shape of CdS/GO composite material is obtained through the high temperature reflow, has high visible light absorption efficiency, further improves the three-dimensional light catalytic activity of CdS/GO composite material, and greatly reduces influence light corrosion to the catalyst, the light catalytic affects the stability of the three-dimensional flower-like CdS/GO composite material to get the good reinforced, and can exhibits an excellent light catalytic degradation characteristic of the organic pollution degradation. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparing three-dimensional flower-like cadmium sulfide-graphene oxide (CdS/GO) comprises (i) preparing three-dimensional flower-like cadmium sulfide (CdS): dissolving the cadmium acetate and thiourea in the de-ionized water, slowly adding L-aspartic acid solution; stirring for 20-30 minutes to obtain uniform mixed solution, and then placing the uniform mixed solution in the reaction kettle, reacting at the environmental temperature of 160-180 degrees C for 4-6 hours, precipitating through centrifugation, washing with ethanol and distilled water, and drying to obtain three-dimensional flower-like cadmium sulfide; and (ii) preparing cadmium sulfide-graphene oxide (CdS/GO) composite material: dispersing the dried graphene oxide in absolute ethanol to obtain a transparent bright yellow solution, adding the synthesized three-dimensional flower-like cadmium sulfide, ultrasonically processing for 20-30 minutes to make it mixed uniformly, continuously stirring and reacting for 1-1.5 hours, then reacting the mixed system at 160-180 degrees C for 4-6 hours, precipitating through centrifugation, washing with ethanol and distilled water, and drying to obtain the three-dimensional flower-like cadmium sulfide-graphene oxide.
