NOVELTY - A vanadium oxide-graphene composite catalyst is obtained by mixing ammonium metavanadate aqueous solution, graphite oxide, anhydrous ethanol and hexadecyltrimethylammonium bromide. The concentration of ammonium metavanadate aqueous solution is 0.01-0.05 mol/L. The mass ratio of vanadium element in the ammonium metavanadate aqueous solution and graphite is 0.001-0.008:0.05. The mass ratio of graphite oxide and anhydrous ethanol is 0.05 g:28-38 mL. The mass ratio of graphite oxide and hexadecyltrimethylammonium bromide is 0.05:0.05-0.1. USE - Vanadium oxide-graphene composite catalyst (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The vanadium oxide-graphene composite catalyst has high selectivity and is environmentally-friendly, and prepared by a simple process. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for preparation of vanadium oxide-graphene composite catalyst, which involves preparing mixed solution containing ammonium metavanadate and graphite oxide, transferring the prepared mixed solution into a high-pressure reaction kettle, adding hexadecyltrimethylammonium bromide, reacting, naturally cooling at room temperature, obtaining solid product, repeatedly washing the obtained solid product by deionized water and absolute alcohol, drying and baking under protection of inert gas.
