NOVELTY - A coating comprises 50-100 parts mass pigment, 30-50 parts mass latex, 0.05-0.2 part mass pH adjuster, 0-0.5 part mass thickener, 0.2-0.5 part mass dispersant, 0.2-0.5 part mass lubricant, 0.5-2.0 parts mass water-resistant agent and 0.1-1.6 parts mass graphene. The graphene is in the form of sheet having size of 1-15 microns and thickness of 2.4 nm. USE - Coating for paper board (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The coating is prepared by a simple method and has good oxygen barrier performance, and is environmentally-friendly. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for the following: (1) preparation of coating, which involves providing graphene solution, adding graphene solution to a dispersion liquid containing dispersant and pH adjuster to form a graphene pigment suspension and adding latex, thickener, lubricant and water-resistant agent to the graphene pigment suspension; and (2) paper board, which comprises substrate and coating layer (A) coated on the surface of the substrate.
