NOVELTY - Boron-containing carbon material is a material in which a boron element is doped so as to replace at least a part of the carbon element in the carbon skeleton, when the Raman shift of the G band in the laser Raman spectrum is X and the Raman shift of the D band is Y, Raman shift difference (XY) is less than or equal to 226 cm-1, where the ratio of the surface-substituted boron element to all the elements on the surface of the boron-containing carbon material measured by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy is greater than or equal to 0.0001. USE - The boron-containing carbon material is useful in a conductive composition for forming a conductive film (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The boron-containing carbon material is excellent in conductivity and provides an excellent conductive material. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a conductive composition comprising the boron-containing carbon material and at least one of a binder resin or a solvent.
