NOVELTY - A positive electrode active material contains organic compound (I) having graphene fragment skeleton or its derivative(s) which is salt including anion and metal cation. USE - Active material is used for positive electrode for organic molecule spin battery (all claimed) e.g. lithium secondary battery used for mobile telephone, portable electronic device and information-technology equipment terminal. ADVANTAGE - The active material has excellent quantum mechanical track degeneracy property, and provides organic molecule spin battery with high capacity and excellent cycling characteristics. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - A positive electrode active material contains organic compound of formula (I) having graphene fragment skeleton or its derivative(s) which is salt including anion and metal cation. R1-R3=1-6C alkyl or halo, in which R1-R3 are not 1-6C alkyl simultaneously. INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for the following: (1) positive electrode; and (2) organic molecule spin battery.
