NOVELTY - A raw material, a catalyst and an organic solvent are mixed and heated, to obtain crude product. The raw material comprises aromatic hydrocarbon and/or halogenated hydrocarbon. The catalyst consists of copper halide, inorganic base and/or amino acid. The crude product is precipitated, filtered, washed and dried, to obtain crude product. The crude product is extracted, to obtain graphene. USE - Preparation of graphene (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The graphene is economically prepared at 80-250 degrees C by simple method, with high yield and reduced energy consumption.
