NOVELTY - A polypeptide modified graphene quantum dot GSG (I), is new. USE - The polypeptide modified graphene quantum dot GSG is useful in preparation of lysine fluorescence detection reagent (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The polypeptide modified graphene quantum dot GSG detects lysine with high selectivity. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - A polypeptide modified graphene quantum dot GSG of formula (I), is new. INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for the following: (1) a method for producing the polypeptide-modified graphene quantum dot GSG, involves taking 35 ml 0.05-5.5 mg/ml aqueous solution of graphene quantum dot in 100 ml beaker, dropwise adding 0.2-0.35 ml mixed solvent of N-hydroxysuccinimide and dicyclohexylcarbodiimide, allowing to stand for 10-15 minutes, weighing 0.1-0.2 g glutathione dissolved in 5 ml deionized water, dropwise adding to activated graphene quantum dots, ultrasonically dispersing in a 37 degrees C water bath for 10 minutes, heating at 55 degrees C for 3 hours, stirring in water bath at room temperature for 24 hours, dialyzing using dialysis bag having molecular weight cutoff of 1000 using 1000 ml deionized water for three days, and changing water every 3 hours; and (2) use of the polypeptide-modified graphene quantum dot in preparation of lysine fluorescence detection reagent.
