NOVELTY - Preparing visible light catalyst comprises adding polyvinylpyrrolidone solution and potassium permanganate solution into reduced graphene oxide dispersion solution to obtain first mixed solution, maintaining the first mixed solution under water bath condition at first temperature for first time to obtain second mixed solution, maintaining the second mixed solution at second temperature for second time, and reducing the temperature to obtain gamma -manganite-reduced graphene oxide compound material which is visible light catalyst. USE - The method is useful for preparing visible light catalyst. ADVANTAGE - The method rationally designs the distribution of different components in the compound catalyst, exposes more active sites, controls the preparation process parameters, optimizes and matches the crystal structure composition of the catalyst, regulates the transfer path of photogenerated electron-hole pairs and generation path of active species, and solves the problem of low catalytic activity of traditional photocatalysts. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for degrading pesticide contamination, comprising adding visible light catalyst to pesticide pollutant solution to be treated to obtain first mixed pollutant solution, stirring the first mixed pollutant solution under dark condition to obtain second mixed pollutant solution, simultaneously applying visible light and ultrasonic vibration to second mixed pollutant solution while for period of time to complete degradation of pesticide contamination.
