NOVELTY - A fluorinated graphene is prepared by fluorinating graphene through chemical reaction method, where graphene comprises 80-95 %mass carbon, 0-20 %mass nitrogen, 0-5 %mass hydrogen, and 0-10 %mass oxygen. USE - Fluorinated graphene for use as cathode material for lithium battery and supercapacitor (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The fluorinated graphene is prepared by simple process, and has specific energy increased by 30% and higher specific power. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for preparation method of fluorinated graphene, which involves (1) placing the graphene into a fluorination device, and (2) vacuumizing the fluorination device at -0.01 MPa, accessing to fluorine source, reacting at 400-700 degrees C and 100-500 kPa for 6-24 hours.
