NOVELTY - A covalent triazine frameworks/graphene oxide (CTFs/GO) composite material with adsorption and photocatalytic site separation comprises graphene oxide as substrate to construct aerogel, and covalent triazine frameworks supported on graphene oxide substrate. USE - The covalent triazine frameworks/graphene oxide composite material with adsorption and photocatalytic site separation is used for environmental remediation and chemical industry for adsorption-photocatalytic degradation of benzophenone UV absorbers (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The absorber has ultra-high adsorption and photocatalytic degradation rate. The method is green and environment-friendly. The material is convenient for recycling, and has ultra-high catalytic degradation performance for benzophenone pollutants. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for preparation of the CTFs/GO composite material with adsorption and photocatalytic site separation comprising dispersing GO in water, adding CTFs, uniformly mixing to obtain CTFs loaded GO hydrogel, and processing through ice template method.
