NOVELTY - A modified graphene oxide comprises alkylamine chain and amino acid chain, which are grafted in two sides of graphene oxide. USE - Modified graphene oxide used as oil displacement agent (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The graphene oxide has excellent interfacial activity and wettability changing ability. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for preparation of modified graphene oxide, which involves (S1) dissolving starch in distilled water to obtain starch solution, dispersing graphene oxide in distilled water to obtain graphene oxide dispersion, dissolving alkylamine in ethanol to obtain ethanol solution of alkylamine, (S2) adding the graphene oxide dispersion to the starch solution to obtain graphene oxide-starch dispersion, dispersing the dispersion in ethanol to obtain ethanol dispersion of graphene oxide-starch, (S3) adding the ethanol solution of alkylamine to the ethanol dispersion of graphene oxide-starch to prepare ethanol dispersion of alkylamine-graphene oxide-starch, (S4) heating the ethanol dispersion of alkylamine-graphene oxide-starch so that the starch is dropped from surface of graphene oxide, leaving, using upper layer of alkylamine-graphene oxide dispersion, cooling to room temperature, and (S5) adding amino acid into the alkylamine-graphene oxide dispersion, mixing, washing and drying.
