NOVELTY - A positive electrode slurry comprises positive electrode active material, binder, conductive agent, solvent and additive. USE - Positive electrode slurry used for preparing positive electrode sheet for lithium-ion battery (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The positive electrode slurry can improve the solid content of the slurry due to addition of specific content of additives, and can optimize the porosity of an electrode, and optimize interfacial film between the electrode and electrolyte, so as to improve the processability and stability of the slurry and improve cycle performance of the high-voltage lithium-ion batteries. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - A positive electrode slurry comprises positive electrode active material, binder, conductive agent, solvent and additive. The additive of formula: (NH4)xHyROz, where R is boron, phosphorus, tungsten, x is more than 0, y is more than or equal to 0, and z is more than 0. The values of x, y and z satisfies the charge balance. The fraction of the additive in the positive electrode slurry is 0.005-2 %mass. INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for the following: (1) preparation of positive electrode slurry; and (2) preparation of positive electrode sheet.
