NOVELTY - Modified graphene-based heat-conducting oil comprises 0.05-0.5 pt. wt. modified graphene, 0.01-0.1 pt. wt. metal passivator, 0.05-0.1 pt. wt. heat-conducting oil additive and 10 pts. wt. heat-conducting oil base solution. USE - As modified graphene-based heat-conducting oil. ADVANTAGE - The heat-conducting oil has excellent dispersion uniformity and stability, improved heat conduction efficiency and oxidation resistance, prolonged service life and reduced consumption, and saves energy. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a method for preparing the heat-conducting oil involving (i) preparing hydroxyl-rich graphene oxide by dispersing 1 pt. wt. graphite flake in 25 pts. wt. concentrated sulfuric acid, adding 2.3 pts. wt. potassium permanganate at 0 degrees C, reacting at 60 degrees C for 3-6 hours, cooling to 0 degrees C, adding 1 pt. wt. potassium permanganate, maintaining the temperature at 10 degrees C for 20-30 hours, adding 1.2 pts. wt. hydrogen peroxide, carrying out an ultrasonic treatment for 20 minutes, washing and drying, (ii) preparing modified graphene by taking 1 pt. wt. hydroxyl-rich graphene oxide, 1 pt. wt. alkyl phosphate or alkyl phosphite and 0.05 pt. wt. alkaline catalyst in 50 pts. wt. solvent, heating and stirring, raising the temperature to 60-100 degrees C, reacting for 6-10 hours at a constant temperature, cooling, centrifuging, dispersing, washing with water and ethanol and removing water to obtain modified graphene, where the alkaline catalyst is sodium hydroxide, potassium hydroxide and sodium methoxide and (iii) preparing the heat-conducting oil by adopting modified graphene, the metal passivator, the heat-conducting oil additive and the heat-conducting oil base solution and performing an ultrasonic-assisted shearing dispersion to obtain the product.
