NOVELTY - Low smoke toxicity composite flame retardant comprises ammonium phosphate, boric acid, borate, flame retardant synergist and smoke suppressant including smoke- suppressant synergist and/or smoke- suppressant adsorbent. USE - The low smoke toxicity composite flame retardant is useful in fiberboard (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The composite flame retardant improves the flame retardant effect in the gas phase and the solid phase; reduces the addition amount of the flame retardant; ensures that the synergistic effect with the polynorbornene flame retardant catalyzes the formation of the carbon layer; increases the density of the carbon layer; inhibit the generation of toxic smoke particles and gas components; adsorbs toxic smoke particles and toxic gases produced during combustion; reduces smoke production; ensures that the smoke density grade SDR is less than 10 and the smoke toxicity grade of the material is above ZA3 DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for preparing low smoke toxicity composite flame retardant comprising (a) mixing the raw materials, (b) carrying out surface modification treatment of the raw material in a mixed state and (c) drying the surface-modified raw material to obtain a low-smoke-toxic composite flame retardant.
