NOVELTY - Biosensor for electrochemical detection of Candida aurisgenomic DNA comprises a working electrode preferably made of gold with a diameter of 2 mm modified with a CAU1S DNA probe specific for detection of C.aurisin biological samples. USE - The biosensor is useful for electrochemical detection of C.auris genomic DNA. ADVANTAGE - The biosensor is an easy and direct approach, can be reused eight times without loss of current signal response and showed selectivity and stability, maintains 100% response up to 80 days of storage, accurately identifies gDNA in biological samples. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a method for constructing the biosensor, which involves (a) immobilizing CAU1S DNA probe (5'-(HS)aacaaaacgaaaaaaaaagcgtaga-3') specific for detection of C.aurisgDNA on surface of working electrode, (b) treating the gDNA sample to open double strand of DNA, (c) hybridizing between CAU1S and C.aurisgDNA enriched in urine and (d) adding hybridization indicator for detection of enriched C.aurisgDNA in urine by differential pulse voltammetry and use as a DNA hybridization indicator.
