NOVELTY - Preparing graphene-metal composite powder material comprises (a) mixing and dispersing metal powder and multilayer graphene powder, (b) transferring the dispersed mixed powder into a chemical vapor deposition equipment at room temperature, setting the growth conditions, carrying out in-situ growth of graphene on the surface of the metal powder, completing the growth, setting the cooling conditions, cooling to room temperature and taking out, (c) mixing and dispersing the in-situ grown composite powder with multiple layers of graphene to obtain mixture, (d) transferring the mixture into the chemical vapor deposition equipment at room temperature again, and performing the in-situ growth of graphene again under the growth conditions and cooling conditions, and taking out, and (e) repeating step (c) and (d) 2-10 times. USE - The method is useful for preparing graphene-metal composite material blanks (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method: uses multi-layer graphene as a carbon source, and utilizes easy sublimation of defective carbon in graphene to convert unstable carbon into a carbon source to provide high-quality in-situ growth of graphene on the surface of metal powder.
