NOVELTY - Preparing graphene quantum dots by hydrothermal acid steam fullerene open cage method comprises placing concentrated nitric acid and fullerene on support frame, placing in a closed container, and carrying out hydrothermal reaction, to obtain graphene quantum dots. USE - The method is useful for preparing graphene quantum dots by hydrothermal acid steam fullerene open cage method. ADVANTAGE - The method produces high-yield of graphene quantum dots to 70%, and is economical; and has simple preparation method. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for use of graphene quantum dots in preparing high-yield graphite by hydrothermal acid fullerene cage comprising support frame includes support tube, filter plate, the middle portion of support is closed by a filter plate, the microporous holes distributed on breathable filter plate, the both ends of support cylinder is set with vents, the support and internal space of cylinder and outer space of support cylinder is set with fullerene having flat on filter plate.
