NOVELTY - Starch-based biodegradable elastomer comprises 60-80 pts. wt. modified nano starch, 2-5 pts. wt. hydroxy-terminated polybutadiene, 10-15 pts. wt. biomass polymer, 1-5 pts. wt. hydrophobic agent, and 1-5 pts. wt. graphene oxide. USE - The elastomer is useful in plastic industry based on gradually depleted petroleum resource, and as a substitute for disposable plastic product. ADVANTAGE - The elastomer has good moisture resistance, toughness and strength, tensile strength of 16 Mpa, elongation at break of 310% and tear strength of 120 N, saturated water absorption rate of less than 20%/dm2, temperature resistance of 120℃ and good degradability, and can satisfy for various performance requirements on the actual application. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for preparing starch-based biodegradable elastomer, comprising adding modified nano starch, hydrophobic agent, biomass polymer and graphene oxide to high speed mixer for 5-20 minutes, starting the vacuum pump, pumping water and low boiling point material, feeding into same direction double-screw extruder, the extruding at a temperature of 130-170℃ and granulating under the condition of screw rod rotating speed of 200-300 revolutions/minute to obtain starch-based biodegradable elastomer.
