NOVELTY - Preparation of graphene-reinforced building ceramic glaze involves placing 1-3 wt.% flaky graphite with respect to content of building ceramic glaze in a roller kiln for heating more than 1100 degrees C, quenching, repeating heating and quenching several times, weighing 3-8 wt.% sugar or starch with respect to content of building ceramic glaze, adding raw materials in the processed graphite and building ceramic glaze into batch ball mill for ball milling for 3-5 hours, adding sugar or starch and other raw materials in the building ceramic glaze, ball milling for 1-2 hours, applying the ball-milled glaze slurry on ceramic material, and drying. USE - Preparation of graphene-reinforced building ceramic glaze. ADVANTAGE - The preparation of graphene-reinforced building ceramic glaze improves hardness and wear resistance. The glazed microhardness of prepared graphene-reinforced building ceramic glaze is 726-755 Hv, and the wear resistance grade reaches more than 5 grades. The preparation is simple, economical, and suitable for industrial scale production.
