▎ 摘  要

NOVELTY - Polystyrene-2-vinylnaphthalene-reduced graphene oxide composite material, is claimed. The composite material is prepared by (i) adding 5-15 wt.% dispersant into water and stirring until the dispersant is completely dissolved, adding styrene and 2-vinylnaphthalene, adding 0.8-1.8 wt.% initiator, simultaneously copolymerizing at the temperature above the initiation temperature of the initiator under protective gas atmosphere to obtain styrene-2-vinylnaphthalene copolymer; (ii) dissolving styrene-2-vinylnaphthalene copolymer in chloroform to obtain 0.1 mg/ml polymer solution, adding 0.5-4 wt.% reduced graphene oxide into chloroform, ultrasonically dispersing to obtain 2 mg/ml reduced graphene oxide dispersion, adding the reduced graphene oxide dispersion into the polymer solution, continuously stirring for 20-40 minutes to obtain copolymerization mixing system; and (iii) precipitating the composite in the copolymerization and mixing system, filtering, washing and drying. USE - The composite material is useful for synergistically increasing glass transition temperature of styrene-based polymer (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method improves binding force between reduced graphene oxide and polymer matrix. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Polystyrene-2-vinylnaphthalene-reduced graphene oxide composite material, is claimed. The composite material is prepared by (i) adding 5-15 wt.% dispersant into water and stirring until the dispersant is completely dissolved, adding styrene and 2-vinylnaphthalene, adding 0.8-1.8 wt.% initiator, simultaneously copolymerizing at the temperature above the initiation temperature of the initiator under protective gas atmosphere to obtain styrene-2-vinylnaphthalene copolymer; (ii) dissolving styrene-2-vinylnaphthalene copolymer in chloroform to obtain 0.1 mg/ml polymer solution, adding 0.5-4 wt.% reduced graphene oxide into chloroform, ultrasonically dispersing to obtain 2 mg/ml reduced graphene oxide dispersion, adding the reduced graphene oxide dispersion into the polymer solution, continuously stirring for 20-40 minutes to obtain copolymerization mixing system; and (iii) precipitating the composite in the copolymerization and mixing system, filtering, washing and drying, where the composite material is copolymerized using styrene as a first monomer and 2-vinylnaphthalene as second monomer, by introducing second monomer into the fused ring as auxiliary co-monomer, copolymerizing to obtain fused ring copolymer, reduced graphene oxide with a large pi bond has a pi - pi interaction between the fused ring copolymer and restricts the movement of the fused ring copolymer molecular chain, the composite material is prepared by suspension polymerization in the suspension polymerization system, comprising the aqueous phase and oil phase in volume ratio of 1.5-8.5:1, the oil phase comprises two monomers: 70-90 wt.% styrene and 10-30 wt.% 2-vinylnaphthalene. The aqueous phase comprises water and 5-15 wt.% dispersant, the amount of reduced graphene oxide is 0.5-4 wt.% and the glass transition temperature of the composite material is 116-120 degrees C. An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for use of the composite material to synergistically increasing glass transition temperature of styrene-based polymers, where the fused ring copolymer is obtained after copolymerization of 2-vinylnaphthalene and styrene and has pi - pi interaction between the reduced graphene oxide with large pi bond and the fused ring copolymer, which restricts the movement of the fused ring copolymer molecular chain.
