NOVELTY - Method for preparing nitrogen-doped carbon-based material catalyst containing defective active sites involves (i) adding a certain carbon material to a round bottom flask, adding deionized water and concentrated nitric acid, (ii) placing the mixed system in an ultrasonic cleaner for ultrasonic treatment and condensing and refluxing at 50-100 degrees C for 0.5-4 hours, (iii) rotating the mixture and drying in a blast drying oven at 60-80 degrees C, and (iv) grinding the sample and uniformly dispersing in a dish, calcining in a nitrogen atmosphere, raising the temperature to 700-1000 degrees C, and performing ammoniation in an ammonia atmosphere to obtain the product, named NC. USE - Method useful for preparing nitrogen-doped carbon-based material catalyst containing defective active sites for reaction system for persulfate activation and degradation of phenolic compound. ADVANTAGE - The method has low cost and excellent catalyst performance, provides idea for the development of advanced oxidation technology, and provides treatment method for refractory wastewater that is easy to realize, advanced in technology and clear in mechanism.
