NOVELTY - A high-capacity lithium battery cathode material comprising a cathode current collector and a cathode active layer set on at least one side of the cathode current collector. The cathode active layer includes a conductive agent, a binder, and an active material. The characteristic feature is that the active material, comprises 75-90 wt.% graphite and 10-25 wt.% NASICON-type electrolyte. The chemical formula of the NASICON-type electrolyte is AM1M2(PO4)3, where A is lithium or sodium, and M1 and M2 are metal ions higher than trivalent. USE - High-load lithium battery cathode material is used for preparation of core-shell structure silicon-carbon composite material and lithium secondary battery. Uses include e.g. hybrid electric vehicle (HEV), electric vehicle, portable electronic device and energy storage system (ESS). ADVANTAGE - The high-load lithium battery cathode material has high safety performance, high volume energy density and long service life.
