NOVELTY - Preparation of composite degradable plastic wrap involves (S1) stirring 100 pts. wt. sericin solution in a water bath at 60 degrees C until the solution is completely dispersed, (S2) dissolving 5-15 pts. wt. graphene oxide in 80-100 pts. wt. water, ultrasonically dispersing to obtain an aqueous solution of graphene oxide, (S3) heating the aqueous solution of graphene oxide to 65-75 degrees C, adding 10-15 pts. wt. nanocellulose whiskers and 3-5 pts. wt. plasticizer, uniformly dispersing, adding 3-8 pts. wt. curdlan, stirring to obtain a mixed solution, (S4) cooling the mixed solution to 60 degrees C, adding dispersed sericin solution to the mixed solution, adding 8-14 pts. wt. polyethylene oxide, adjusting the pH to neutral, ultrasonically dispersing to obtain a composite solution, (S5) cooling the composite solution, leaving still for 2 hours, degassing to remove bubbles, pouring on a smooth glass plate, naturally casting into a film, and drying at 60 degrees C for 6 hours. USE - Preparation of composite degradable plastic wrap. ADVANTAGE - The process provides degradable plastic wrap which has excellent barrier properties and mechanical properties, and uses graphene oxide and nanocellulose whiskers which have excellent reinforcing effect.
