NOVELTY - Preparing polyphosphate grafted graphene flame-retardant modified polypropylene comprises e.g. (i) adding N-methyl pyrrolidone solvent, carboxylated graphene and 4,4'-diaminodiphenyl sulfone into three-necked bottle, adding 1-ethyl-3-dimethylaminopropyl carbodiimide hydrochloride and 4-dimethylaminopyridine after ultrasonic dispersion, carrying out amidation reaction, filtering, washing and precipitating to obtain amino diphenyl sulfone grafted grapheme, (ii) reacting pentaerythritol with phosphorus oxychloride to obtain 1-Oxo-4-hydroxymethyl-2,6,7-trioxa-1-phosphabicyclo(2.2.2)octane, (iii) adding an acetonitrile solvent, 1-Oxo-4-hydroxymethyl-2,6,7-trioxa-1-phosphabicyclo(2.2.2)octane and phosphorus oxychloride into a three-necked bottle, reacting, adding amino diphenyl sulfone grafted graphene and triethylamine, carrying out in-situ polymerization, filtering, washing and precipitating to obtain polyphosphate phosphabicyclo-grafted grapheme USE - The method is useful for preparing polyphosphate grafted graphene flame-retardant modified polypropylene. ADVANTAGE - The method: promotes the carbonization, inhibits the smoke; enhance the flame retardant effect of polypropylene by controlling the polyphosphate phosphorus heterobicyclic graft graphene dosage; improves the mechanical strength of the polypropylene. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparing a polyphosphate grafted graphene flame-retardant modified polypropylene comprises (i) adding N-methyl pyrrolidone solvent, carboxylated graphene and 4,4'-diaminodiphenyl sulfone into three-necked bottle, adding 1-ethyl-3-dimethylaminopropyl carbodiimide hydrochloride and 4-dimethylaminopyridine after ultrasonic dispersion, carrying out amidation reaction, filtering the solvent and washing and precipitating by using N-methyl pyrrolidone and ethanol in sequence to obtain aminodiphenyl sulfone grafted grapheme, (ii) reacting pentaerythritol with phosphorus oxychloride to obtain 1-Oxo-4-hydroxymethyl-2,6,7-trioxa-1-phosphabicyclo(2.2.2)octane, (iii) adding an acetonitrile solvent, 1-Oxo-4-hydroxymethyl-2,6,7-trioxa-1-phosphabicyclo(2.2.2)octane and phosphorus oxychloride into a three-necked bottle, introducing nitrogen, reacting for 5-7 hours at 75-85degrees Celsius, adding amino diphenyl sulfone grafted graphene and triethylamine, carrying out in-situ polymerization, filtering the solvent, washing and precipitating with N, N-dimethylformamide and ethanol to obtain polyphosphate phosphabicyclo-grafted grapheme, (iv) placing the polyphosphate phosphoester phospho-hetero-bicyclic grafted graphene and polypropylene into a double-screw extruder, adding a plasticizer, an antioxidant and a lubricant, uniformly blending, extruding master batches and performing injection molding through an injection molding machine to obtain the product.
