NOVELTY - A silicon-carbon composite material sequentially comprises a graphene layer (G1), a silicon-graphene composite framework and a graphene layer (G2). The silicon-graphene composite framework is provided with a porous structure embedded with modified nano-silver particles. USE - Silicon-carbon composite material is used in lithium-ion battery (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The silicon-carbon composite material reserves space for volume expansion of the silicon, such that the volume expansion of the silicon-carbon composite material is reduced, and provides lithium-ion battery woth high energy density, long service life and excellent cycle stability. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for preparation of the silicon-carbon composite material, which involves mixing sepiolite and quaternary ammonium salt surfactant solution, separating to obtain a composite silicon source precursor intercalated with quaternary ammonium salt surfactant, mixing the composite silicon source precursor with the catalyst, carrying out thermal reduction reaction, acid washing to obtain a silicon-carbon composite coarse material, dispersing modified nano-silver particles to obtain modified nano-silver particle dispersion, adding the silicon-carbon composite coarse material, ultrasonically vibrating, and separating solid and liquid.
