NOVELTY - Antistatic polyurethane elastomer comprises 34-70% polymer polyol, 23-51% blocked isocyanate, 6-15% chain extender, 0.1-0.3% antioxidant, 0.01-0.05% modified graphene and 0.01-0.03% catalyst, where the preparation of modified graphene-chain extender dispersion comprises adding modified graphene to the chain extender under ultrasonic condition. USE - The elastomer is useful in polyurethane spinning field. ADVANTAGE - The elastomer has low surface resistivity and volume resistivity, high mechanical performance, good wear resistance and thermal stability. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for preparing the elastomer, comprising (i) mixing polymer polyol, antioxidant and catalyst at 95-105 degrees C, and heating blocked isocyanate at 40-60 degrees C, (ii) adding modified graphene to chain extender under ultrasound conditions, forming modified graphene-chain extender dispersion, and continuously heating at 50-60 degrees C, and (iii) reacting polymer polyol, mixed product of antioxidant and catalyst, blocked isocyanate and modified graphene-chain extender dispersion through a twin-screw extruder.
