NOVELTY - A composite material comprises Prussian blue/redox graphene oxide, where the material has particle size of 2-50 mu m. USE - Composite material for use as sodium ion battery cathode active material (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The material does not contain coordinated water, and has excellent sodium ion battery performance, and charge and discharge capacity of up to 150 mA/g or more. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - A composite material comprises Prussian blue/redox graphene oxide, where the material has particle size of 2-50 mu m, the Prussian blue is sodium-ion-ion-cyanide compound (NaxFeFe(CN)6), and the x is 0-2. An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for a method for preparing Prussian blue/redox graphene oxide composite material, which involves mixing an aqueous dispersion of graphene oxide and Prussian blue formulating as a mixture, spray-drying to obtain Prussian Blue/graphene oxide composite material, where the ratio of the graphene oxide and Prussian Blue is (70-97):(3-30), the Prussian blue is sodium-ion-ion-cyanide compound (NaxFeFe(CN)6.yH2O), the x is 0-2 and y is greater than 0., and incubating the Prussian Blue/graphene oxide composites at 210-230 degrees C for 2 hours or more i.e. Prussian Blue/redox graphene oxide composite.
