NOVELTY - Preparation of trinickel-iron nitride-graphene/alginate aerogel electrocatalyst, involves mixing 1 %mass sodium alginate solution with graphene, adding a mixed solution of iron ion and nickel ion with a concentration of 0.1 mol/L to obtain a nickel-iron-graphene/alginic acid hydrogel, vacuum-freeze-drying the hydrogel for 12 hours, heating to 700 degrees C under ammonia atmosphere in a tubular furnace at 5 degrees C/minute, roasting for 1 hour, and cooling to room temperature. USE - Preparation of trinickel-iron nitride-graphene/alginate aerogel electrocatalyst. ADVANTAGE - The method enables simple preparation of electrocatalyst with metallic and three-dimensional aerogel having a special structure, high active site number, and excellent catalytic performance, using environmentally-friendly biomass (alginate).
