NOVELTY - Metal-organic frameworks/graphene supported palladium nanocomplex catalyst comprises carrier composed of a metal organic framework and graphene and loading with active components of 1-10 wt.% palladium nano-particles with the particle size of 10-20 nm. USE - The catalyst is useful in suzuki reaction of halobenzene and phenylboronic acid (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The catalyst exhibits high catalytic activity and good reusability. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are also included for: (1) preparing metal-organic frameworks/graphene supported palladium nanocomplex catalyst comprising (a) dispersing the graphene oxide in N,N-dimethylformamide in a mixing ratio of 100 ml/g, ultrasonically treating for 60-100 minutes, to obtain graphene oxide solution, (b) orderly adding anhydrous zirconium tetrachloride, terephthalic acid and N,N-dimethylformamide in the graphene oxide solution, where the mass ratio of graphene oxide of graphene oxide solution and anhydrous zirconium tetrachloride is 1:5-50, molar ratio of anhydrous zirconium tetrachloride and terephthalic acid is 1:1 and the mixing ratio of N,N-dimethylformamide and anhydrous zirconium tetrachloride is 200 ml/g, reacting the solution at 100-150 degrees C for 12-36 hours, filtering, washing N,N-dimethylformamide cake, soaking in dichloromethane for 12-24 hours, suction filtering, vacuum drying for overnight, placing the product in an oven at 100-150 degrees C, incubating for 12-24 hours, to obtain metal-organic frameworks/graphene oxide complex material, (c) dispersing the complex material in n-hexane, ultrasonically treating for 30 minutes, to obtain quasi-homogeneous system, stirring, adding 0.04 mol/l dihydrogen tetrachloropalladate solution in a dropwise manner, stirring for 1 hour, adding 0.5-1 mol/l reducing agent, stirring at 25-80 degrees C for 20 minutes, centrifuging, washing with water, vacuum drying, to obtain metal-organic frameworks/graphene supported palladium nanocomposite catalyst, where mixing ratio of n-hexane and complex material is 40 ml/g, mass ratio of dihydrogen tetrachloropalladate and complex material is 1:5-25 and the molar ratio of dihydrogen tetrachloropalladate and reducing agent is 1:20-40; and (2) Use of metal-organic frameworks/graphene supported palladium nanocomplex catalyst in suzuki reaction of halobenzene and phenylboronic acid.
