NOVELTY - Environmentally friendly flame-retardant ternary composite material POSS/GO/ZIF-8 comprises 38 pts. wt. octaaminopropyl silsesquioxane POSS, 60 pts. wt. graphene oxide GO, 0.3-0.6 pts. wt. POSS/GO, 1.5-3.0 pts. wt. zinc nitrate and 28.7-57.4 pts. wt. 2-methylimidazole. USE - Environmentally friendly flame-retardant ternary composite material POSS/GO/ZIF-8. ADVANTAGE - The environmentally friendly flame-retardant ternary composite material POSS/GO/ZIF-8 has improved flame retardant performance and ultrasonic waves are used for dispersion during the preparation process to ensure that the dispersion is stable, uniform and free from agglomeration, the process is simple, and the feasibility is high. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a method for preparing environmentally friendly flame-retardant ternary composite material POSS/GO/ZIF-8, which involves: (A) taking 38 pts. wt. octaaminopropyl silsesquioxane POSS and ultrasonically dispersing in 60 mL tetrahydrofuran, taking 60 pts. wt. graphene oxide GO and ultrasonically dispersing in 60 mL tetrahydrofuran; (B) mixing two solutions uniformly, in a nitrogen atmosphere at 65 degrees C in a water bath for 15 hours, and evaporate the tetrahydrofuran with a rotary evaporator; (C) dispersing product ultrasonically and cleaning with absolute ethanol, and drying to obtain a POSS/GO binary composite; (D) dissolving 1.5-3.0 pts. wt. zinc nitrate in 8 pts. wt. deionized water, magnetically stirring for 10 minutes, and then adding 0.3-0.6 pts. wt. POSS/GO binary composite material; (E) stirring and sonicating for 30 min to obtain solution A; (F) dissolving 28.7-57.4 pts. wt. 2-methylimidazole in 80 pts. wt. deionized water, and magnetically stirring for 10 min to obtain solution B; (G) pouring solution B into solution A and stirring for 120 min; and (H) centrifuging at 10000r/min for 10 min, washing with deionized water multiple times, and drying at 65 degrees C to obtain POSS/GO/ZIF-8 ternary composite material.
