▎ 摘  要

NOVELTY - Composition comprises (a) a solvent, (b) a polymer binder, (c) a carbon-based flame retardant, (d) a fire retardant compound, (e) a heat absorbing compound, and (f) a phyllosilicate material. USE - The composition is used for increasing the fire resistance of a substrate, reducing the inflammability of a substrate, and in a fire-resistant coating (all claimed) for articles, elements, and components used in the areas of aviation, institutions including schools, prisons, hospitals), automotive, industrial, marine, household goods, furnishings, furniture, textile, and clothing. ADVANTAGE - The composition exhibits superior fire resistance and is easy to apply/install, is cost-effective, and saves time needed for overall roof installation. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for the following: a method of increasing the fire resistance of a substrate comprising (i) providing a substrate, (ii) coating the substrate with the composition, where the fire resistance of the substrate is improved when compared to an identical substrate that is not coated with the composition; a fire-resistant coating that is formed by the curing or drying of the composition; and a roofing assembly comprising a roof deck to which is affixed a first underlayment having a lower surface that is adjacent to an upper surface of the roof deck and an upper surface, and the coating, where a lower surface of the coating is adjacent to the upper surface of the underlayment. (1) a method of reducing the inflammability of a substrate comprising (a) providing a substrate, (b) coating the substrate with the composition, where the inflammability of the substrate is improved when compared to an identical substrate that is not coated with the composition;
