NOVELTY - A dual-functionalized material comprises metal element doped with graphene oxide grafted with lithium-conducting compound. USE - Dual-functionalized material for use as anode material for preparing lithium-sulfur battery and lithium-air battery (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The dual-functionalized material improves lithium-conducting property of anode material and catalytic decomposition of lithium peroxide, speeds up reaction of oxygen and lithium ions and reduces polarization and charging and discharging process in lithium-air battery, comprises embedded metal ions for improving conductivity of graphene oxide in lithium-sulfur battery, plays a major role in fixing polysulfide in lithium-sulfur battery and reduces binding of polysulfides and polysulfides into electrolyte, in lithium-sulfur battery. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are also included for the following: (1) a method for preparing a dual-functionalized material (2) a use of dual-functionalized material as anode material for preparing lithium-sulfur battery and lithium-air battery.
