NOVELTY - Method for synthesizing graphene-coated manganese oxide nanomaterial by microwave-assisted method, involves (a) adding manganese oxide nanomaterial to water, and uniformly dispersing by magnetic stirring and ultrasonically processing to obtain a manganese oxide solution, (b) adding graphene oxide to water, and dissolving by magnetic stirring and ultrasonically processing to obtain a graphene oxide solution, (c) slowly dripping graphene oxide solution into manganese oxide solution, and freeze-drying the mixed solution to obtain manganese oxide doped graphene oxide powder, and (d) annealing the powder in an argon gas atmosphere in a tube furnace for 1-1.2 hours to obtain a precursor, placing obtained precursor in a closed glass bottle filled with argon gas, and heating the glass bottle in a microwave oven to obtain the nanomaterial. USE - The method is useful for synthesizing graphene-coated manganese oxide nanomaterial used in lithium ion battery anode material. ADVANTAGE - The method reduces graphene through microwave instant high temperature, and effectively repairs the defects of graphene, and the prepared nanomaterial has excellent electrochemical performance. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for use of the graphene-coated manganese oxide nanomaterial in a lithium ion battery anode material, which is prepared by the above-mentioned method.
