▎ 摘 要
NOVELTY - The display has multiple drive-sense circuits (28) that are coupled to two electrodes, and operated to generate a proper subset of multiple sensed signals indicating variations in capacitance associated with a proper subset of multiple cross points that are formed by the electrodes. A processing module is provided with a memory that stores operational instructions and a processing circuit that executes the instructions to receive the sensed signals from the drive-sense circuits and process the sensed signals to identify a user interaction in proximity to a display main body. USE - Touch screen display i.e. near bezel-less touch screen display, large touch screen display and scalable touch screen display for use in a touch-based device (claimed) or a computing device in a communication system. Uses include but are not limited to a vending machine, an automated teller machine (ATM), an automobile, entertainment media control application, navigation application, in-home automation application, an industrial system, health care field, transportation and climate control application, or computing device, such as a mobile phone, a laptop, a tablet, a personal computer (PC), a work station, a video game device, a server, a data center, a TV and an industrial plant. ADVANTAGE - The display utilizes the computing device to process the sensor signals to determine temperature of different items in a refrigerated lorry during transit, thus determining data points in a production line of a product in efficient manner, and couples the sensor circuit to a sensor to provide the sensor with power and receive the signal representing the physical phenomenon from the sensor, so that the sensor circuit includes three electrical connections to the sensor for a power supply, providing common voltage reference, and receiving a signal representing a physical phenomenon, thus reducing power consumption. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a method for sensing a touch on a touch screen display. DESCRIPTION OF DRAWING(S) - The drawing shows a schematic block diagram of a communication system. 12Computing device 22Server 24Database 26Network 28Drive-sense circuits
