NOVELTY - Preparing an oxalic acid-modified magnetic graphene oxide adsorbent comprises (i) weighing ferric chloride hexahydrate and ethanediol, magnetic stirring, adding graphene oxide, ammonia water, and polyethylene pyrrolidone, (ii) adding into ferric chloride hexahydrate and ethanediol mixed solution, (iii) adding poly tetrafluorin ethylene to the reaction kettle, reacting, (iv) cooling, (v) taking step (i) prepared magnetic graphene oxide powder, adding to the solution at room temperature, spinning, washing, freezing and drying and grinding. USE - The method is useful for preparing oxalic acid-modified magnetic graphene oxide adsorbent(claimed). ADVANTAGE - The adsorbent preparation method is simple,has high adsorbing capacity, is convihnient, environmentally-friendly and can be recycled. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparing an oxalic acid-modified magnetic graphene oxide adsorbent comprises (i) weighing 1-2 pts. wt. ferric chloride hexahydrate and ethanediol, magnetic stirring to obtain 0.05g/ml solution, weighing 0.05-0.2 pts. wt. graphene oxide, 1-10 pts. wt. ammonia water, and 0.05-0.3 pts. wt. polyethylene pyrrolidone, (ii) adding the above mentioned raw materials into ferric chloride hexahydrate and ethanediol mixed solution, (iii) adding poly tetrafluorin ethylene to the reaction kettle, reacting at 160-190 degrees C for 15-24 hours, (iv) cooling the product to room temperature, washing with water and anhydrous ethyl alcohol alternately for 3 times, freezing, drying, grinding, taking 0.2-0.6 pts. wt. graphene oxide adsorbent and adding 60-70 pts. wt. oxalic acid solvent, taking 0.5-2 pts. wt. polypeptide condensing agent, 0.1-1 pts. wt. alkaline catalyst and adding to the solution at room temperature, stirring until complete dissolution, (v) taking step (i) prepared magnetic graphene oxide powder, adding to the solution at room temperature, spinning at 300 rotations/minute for 24 hours, washing with water and anhydrous ethyl alcohol alternately for 3 times, freezing and drying and grinding to obtain the product. An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for using the adsorbent comprising use method comprising taking 50 ml heavy metal ion solution, 80-200 mg/l in 250 ml bottle, regulating pH to 2-8, adding 7-12 mg adsorbent, reacting for 25-45 degrees C in water bath, oscillating for 1-3 hours, magnetic separating, taking the supernatant detecting heavy metal ion in the remaining concentration after adsorption according to cesium concentration, comparing the initial and final concentration of heavy metal in the solution and absorbing iron ion solution.
