NOVELTY - Preparation of graphene/ beta -bismuth oxide/strontium ferrate ternary composite magnetic photocatalyst, involves stirring bismuth nitrate pentahydrate in nitric acid, adding strontium ferrate, stirring, adding to sodium carbonate solution, adding graphene oxide, stirring continuously until the solution is brown, leaving the solution still for layering, filtering, washing the filter cake with water and alcohol several times, drying, grinding, transferring to a muffle furnace, vacuumizing under nitrogen protection, heating, and cooling naturally. USE - Preparation of graphene/ beta -bismuth oxide/strontium ferrate ternary composite magnetic photocatalyst used for decomposing rhodamine B and other organic pollutants in water. ADVANTAGE - The method enables simple, safe, economical and quick preparation of graphene/ beta -bismuth oxide/strontium ferrate ternary composite magnetic photocatalyst, with less equipment requirement. The obtained product has excellent photocatalytic efficiency, and provides rhodamine B decomposition rate of 99.5% in 50 minutes under visible light. The product has a coercive force of 4142.6 G and strong demagnetization resistance. The decomposition rare of rhodamine B reaches 90.2% even after 4 times of recycling. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparation of graphene/ beta -bismuth oxide/strontium ferrate (SrFe12O19) ternary composite magnetic photocatalyst, involves stirring 8 mmol bismuth nitrate pentahydrate in 1 mol/L nitric acid for 0.5 hour for complete dissolution, adding 15 %mass strontium ferrate, stirring for 2 hours, adding to 80 ml 0.6 mol/L sodium carbonate solution such that the mass ratio of graphene oxide and beta -bismuth oxide/strontium ferrate is 0.5-5:100, adding graphene oxide, stirring continuously for 12 hours until the solution is brown, leaving the solution still for layering, filtering, washing the filter cake with water and alcohol several times, drying for 10 hours at 80 degrees C, grinding in a mortar, transferring to a muffle furnace, vacuumizing under nitrogen protection, heating at 4 degrees C/minute to 380 degrees C, roasting for 10 minutes, and cooling naturally to room temperature.
