NOVELTY - Negative electrode material comprises antimony and graphene. The graphene has hierarchical pore structure, and antimony element is uniformly dispersed in hierarchical pores of graphene in form of atoms. USE - Negative electrode material used for sodium ion battery (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The negative electrode material has excellent electrochemical performance, high conductivity characteristic and improved conductive characteristic of the antimony or the negative electrode, improves multiplying power performance, coulomb efficiency and cycle stability, inhibits the volume expansion of antimony in the charging and discharging process, and avoids antimony and electrolyte solution directly contact to reduce the formation of SEI. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for: 1. a method for preparing negative electrode material of sodium ion battery, which involves: a. performing antimony ion exchange between antimony source and cation exchange resin, and uniformly mixing with template agent for high-temperature sintering and post-processing, where mass ratio of antimony source to cation exchange resin is 1:(0.5-10); and 2. a sodium ion battery, which comprises sodium ion battery negative electrode material.
