NOVELTY - Preparing aminated carbon nanotube (CNT)/graphene sponge capable of absorbing formaldehyde comprises (i) distributing uniformly dispersed graphene oxide solution while disposing the uniformly dispersed carbon nanotube solution, (ii) aluminating the graphene oxide solution and the carbon nano-tube solution separately to obtain aminated graphene solution and aminated carbon nanotube solution, (iii) mixing the aminated graphene solution and the aminated nanotube solution into mixed aqueous solution, and ultrasonically dispersing for 1-3 hours, and (iv) immersing the sponge in the uniformly dispersed mixed aqueous solution, sealing, placing in a constant temperature water bath, and reacting at a constant temperature, taking out and drying the product in a freeze dryer to obtain the aminated carbon nanotube/graphene sponge. USE - The method is useful for preparing aminated CNT/graphene sponge capable of absorbing formaldehyde. ADVANTAGE - The method: improves adsorption performance of formaldehyde; modifies presence of graphene and carbon nano-tubes simultaneously; and improves adsorption performance of sample on formaldehyde gas.
