NOVELTY - A polystyrene/graphene composite particle preparation method involves preparing a common polystyrene particle without any surface modification by dispersing graphene oxide in water and ultrasonically separating the solution to obtain graphene oxide suspending liquid. The graphene oxide suspended liquid is mixed with polystyrene particle dispersed liquid. The mixture is centrifuged and cleaned to obtain a polystyrene/graphene composite particle. USE - Method for preparing polystyrene/graphene composite particle. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - A polystyrene/graphene composite particle preparation method involves preparing a common polystyrene particle without any surface modification. The graphene oxide is dispersed in water and ultrasonically separated to obtain graphene oxide suspending liquid. The graphene oxide suspending liquid is added to the polystyrene particle dispersing liquid and stirred continuously to obtain mixed liquid, which is maintained at 15-100 degrees C. Reducer like hydrazine hydrate is added to the mixed liquid and allowed to react for 2-120 hours. The mixed liquid is centrifuged and cleaned to obtain a polystyrene/graphene composite particle, where diameter of the particle is less than 200 nm.
