NOVELTY - Preparing aqueous-based graphene dispersion using shear stabilization involves providing a composition comprising water, a graphene powder, a super wetter surfactant and a water dispersible rheology agent to obtain an aqueous mixture, shearing the aqueous mixture to break down the graphene powder into graphene platelet particles and to disperse the graphene platelet particles to obtain the aqueous-based graphene dispersion, where the graphene powder has a first number of graphene layers, the graphene platelet particles dispersed in the aqueous-based graphene dispersion has a second number of graphene layers, and the second number is smaller than the first number. USE - Method for preparing aqueous-based graphene dispersion using shear stabilization used in car care product (claimed). DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for: 1. an aqueous-based graphene dispersion, which comprises: a composition comprising a super wetter surfactant, a water dispersible rheology agent, water and graphene platelet particles, where the graphene platelet particles have an average thickness of about 1-10 nanometer and are dispersed homogeneously in the aqueous-based graphene dispersion, and the aqueous-based graphene dispersion is stable without visible phase separation after storage at room temperature for at least 1 month; and 2. a car care product, which comprises: an aqueous-based graphene dispersion, anionic surfactant, cationic surfactant, non-ionic surfactant, amphoteric surfactant, non-ionic emulsifier, UV absorber, mineral oil, butyl cellosolve, fragrances, colorant, preservative, thickening agent, abrasive polishing agent, neutralizing agent, or stabilizing agent.
