NOVELTY - Composite graphite bipolar plate prepared from slurry containing modified graphene, or formed by hot pressing of powder containing modified graphene, is claimed. The modified graphene is graphene grafted with thermosetting resin. The conductive filler is graphite powder, expanded graphite and/or chopped carbon fiber. The adhesive is novolac epoxy vinyl resin, dipropylene glycol dipropylene glycol ester and/or methacrylate. The catalyst base is sodium hydroxide, potassium hydroxide or calcium hydroxide. USE - The bipolar plate is useful for fuel cell. ADVANTAGE - The bipolar plate has electrical conductivity, thermal conductivity and hydrogen barrier properties, compatibility, high electrical conductivity, thermal conductivity, sealing, dimensional stability and good mechanical strength.
