NOVELTY - Synthesizing caprolactam comprises using a catalyst to catalyze a reaction raw material comprising cyclohexanone oxime to carry out a Beckmann gas-phase rearrangement reaction to obtain caprolactam. The first stirring and mixing of raw materials including graphene oxide, a reducing agent, and a solvent are performed to obtain a first mixture. The first mixture is subjected to solid-liquid separation, washed, and dried to obtain the catalyst. The reducing agent is selected from lithium borohydride, sodium borohydride, potassium borohydride, and lithium aluminum hydride. USE - Method for synthesizing caprolactam. ADVANTAGE - The graphene material has a relatively low surface polarity (strong hydrophobicity), which is beneficial to the desorption of the product caprolactam, thus reducing the temperature of the gas phase rearrangement reaction, improving the product yield, and prolonging the operating life of the fixed bed reactor.
