NOVELTY - Preparing magnetically aligned wave-absorbing thermoplastic wire comprises (1) dissolving thermoplastic resin with organic solvent, (2) adding wave-absorbing powder to dissolved thermoplastic resin, stirring, dispersing, and evaporating organic solvent to obtain a colloidal mixture, (3) washing colloidal mixture, removing remaining organic solvent, and drying to obtain a thermoplastic wave absorbing masterbatch, (4) mixing thermoplastic wave absorbing masterbatch and auxiliary agent to obtain mixed material, and (5) adding mixed material to the twin-screw extruder for wire drawing, and applying an external magnetic field in front of the head of the twin-screw extruder, pulling wire, and solidify to obtain a magnetically aligned wave-absorbing thermoplastic wire. USE - The method is useful for preparing magnetically aligned wave-absorbing thermoplastic wire, which is useful in field of domestic, military, medical, and communication. ADVANTAGE - The thermoplastic wire: has good electromagnetic wave absorbing performance and mechanical property.
