NOVELTY - p-Toluenesulfonic acid is added to deionized water and stirred, sodium hydroxide is added to adjust the pH of the solution to 5-7, distilled, polypyrrole is added and stirred, to obtain polypyrrole solution. Graphene suspension is mixed with the polypyrrole solution, ultrasonically dispersed, to obtain 0.005-0.1 g/L electrolyte. Working electrode, counter electrode and reference electrode are placed in the electrolyte, and constant current or constant potential polymerization process is performed on the working electrode, to obtain polypyrrole/graphene composite electrode. USE - Preparation of polypyrrole/graphene composite electrode used for electromechanical actuator, sensor and energy storage and electrochromic applications. ADVANTAGE - The method provides polypyrrole/graphene composite electrode having high specific surface area and excellent electrochemical stability and capacitance, by simple and economical process. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - 0.05-2 %Mass Graphene oxide is added to deionized water, ultrasonically dispersed for 20-80 minutes, centrifuged for 20-50 minutes at 3000-5000 rpm to remove impurities, the resultant mixture is diluted with deionized water 1-3 times, then diluted with hydrazine aqueous solution, and the pH is adjusted to 9-11 with aqueous ammonia. The resultant mixture is reduced at 90-95 degrees C for 1-2 hours in water bath, to obtain graphene suspension. The addition amount of hydrazine for diluting is 0.5-10 times that of deionized water. p-Toluenesulfonic acid is added to deionized water and stirred uniformly, to obtain 0.05-0.3 mol/L p-toluenesulfonic acid solution, sodium hydroxide is added to adjust the pH of the solution to 5-7, distilled, polypyrrole is added and stirred uniformly for 5 minutes, to obtain 0.1-0.5 mol/L polypyrrole solution. The obtained graphene suspension is mixed with the polypyrrole solution, stirred for 30 seconds, ultrasonically dispersed for 5-15 minutes, to obtain 0.005-0.1 g/L electrolyte. Working electrode, counter electrode and reference electrode are placed in the electrolyte, and constant current or constant potential polymerization process is performed on the working electrode, to obtain polypyrrole/graphene composite electrode. The reference electrode is saturated calomel electrode. The counter electrode is ring-shaped metal electrode.
