NOVELTY - Porous shape memory polymer comprises hierarchical pore structure, formed by polylactic acid and thermoplastic polyurethane. The pore structure has average diameter of 40-60 mu m. USE - The porous shape memory polymer is useful for shape memory insulation film, wearable insulation and thermal encryption film (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The porous shape memory polymer: has excellent thermal insulation properties, good flexibility and shape reconfiguration effect; is easy to manufacture and suitable as thermal camouflage film for military use. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are also included for: (1) method for preparing the porous shape memory polymer, comprising (i) preparing a mixed solution by dispersing polylactic acid and thermoplastic polyurethane in a solvent and stirring at 60-90 degrees C, (ii) stirring the mixed solution at 1200-1700 revolutions/minute for 5-20 minutes, (iii) adding the stirred mixture into a mold and removing air bubbles under vacuum, (iv) preparing a polymer by phase-separating the mixed solution from which the bubbles are removed for 10-30 minutes in a constant temperature and humidifier at 60-70 degrees C with a relative humidity of 60-80%, (v) immersing the phase-separated polymer in distilled water for 8-12 hours, and (vi) drying.
