NOVELTY - An all-solid-state lithium secondary battery comprises a positive electrode, a solid electrolyte layer positioned on the positive electrode, and a negative electrode positioned on the electrolyte layer. The positive electrode comprises a positive electrode active material. The electrolyte layer contains a sulfide-based solid electrolyte containing lithium-metal-phosphorus-sulfur compound and a binder (A), or an oxide-based solid electrolyte containing lithium-aluminum-gallium-lanthanum-zirconium oxide compound and a binder (B). The negative electrode comprises a negative active material. USE - All-solid-state lithium secondary battery. Uses include but are not limited to electric, electronic, communication and computer applications, electric vehicles (EVs), hybrid electric vehicles (HEVs) and plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEVs). ADVANTAGE - The battery is stable even at high voltage and even when the charging voltage is increased, has excellent capacity, and low operating temperature due to addition of plasticizer which controls interface between the electrode layers and ensures movement of polyethylene oxide at low temperature. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An all-solid-state lithium secondary battery comprises a positive electrode, a solid electrolyte layer positioned on the positive electrode, and a negative electrode positioned on the electrolyte layer. The positive electrode comprises a positive electrode active material. The electrolyte layer contains a sulfide-based solid electrolyte containing lithium-metal-phosphorus-sulfur compound of formula: LiaMbPcSdZe, where a is 0-20 (excluding 0), b is 0-6, c is 0-6 (excluding 0), d is 0-20 (excluding 0), e is 0-9, M is boron, aluminum, gallium, indium, silicon, germanium, tin, lead, arsenic, antimony, bismuth, titanium, vanadium, chromium, manganese, iron, cobalt, nickel, copper, yttrium, zirconium, niobium, molybdenum, technetium, ruthenium, rhodium, palladium, silver, hafnium, tantalum and/or tungsten, and Z is at least one selected from fluoride, chloride, bromide, iodide and oxygen, and a binder (A), or an oxide-based solid electrolyte containing lithium-aluminum-gallium-lanthanum-zirconium oxide compound of formula: LixAlpGaqLayZrzO12, where x is 5-9, p is 0-4, q is 0-4, y is 2-4 and z is 1-3, and a binder (B). The negative electrode comprises a negative active material. An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for manufacture of the battery.
